Anyone see Seaside Heights lately? Holy Cow?

They knocked down tons of those Section 8 shacks and build big money townhomes.

I was impressed.

I saw them and I'm still not impressed with Seaside (aka Sleezeside). We go there at least once each summer just so the kids can do the boardwalk, however, we go for the day (or evening) and that's it. We do not rent a place or sleep over. We visit family in Toms River, all jump in the car to go to the boardwalk then go back to the house. I haven't personally liked Seaside since I was about 17. However, I am not a fan of the Jersey Shore, I've been going to Ocean City, MD since I was 13 and that's where we vacation with the kids.

But I won't argue, Seaside has made it's changes....but it's still kids with pumped up cars cruising "the strip", XS, Bermuda Club, Beach Club...none of those have changed, and the kids still barely wear anything and fight...that'll never change.

My aunt and uncle vacationed there this summer with friends and their kids and they had a great time. And they slept there in a rented house They said the same thing about the changes-they're trying to clean it up.

Morton, very shortly there will be multi million dollar condos for sale on the beach in Asbury Park. Do you want to live in Asbury Park. That's making a turnaround as well. I would give it time.

Seaside has a great boardwalk, regardless of how the surrounding area is.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, LMAO....Yes, actually I am extremely OLD, I'm a whopping 33, you know, over the hill. You're still young that's why you see it that way. Trust me, you'll get over it when you're "old" too.

Oh, I don't know when you posted that but I just read it, and you made my day. Thanks for the laugh!
