maplewood or springfield. maplewood house is on oberlin, springfield on cottler ave. I have a 2nd and 4th graders both elementary, rents are same for both house. Need suggestion in terms of safety, school districts etc

Maplewood is prettier and has a nicer down town. However, Springfield's schools are MUCH better.

thanks. if you check on greatschools.org the rating on elementary schools are more or less same. Mapplewood middle and hight school ratings are not so good. I don't know how irvington effects mapple wood safety. I drove through springfield ave to get into maplewood and did not really good get a very good vibe.

Truth be told Maplewood is prettiest around Wyoming. If you wont live in that area then who cares, lol. Go rent the larger place with the best yard.
