Yes, he was looking for NY suburbs, he asked his question 2 years and 5 months ago, and he has never returned to this thread--or apparently any other part of City Data--since that time.

Why do people bother to respond to questions asked by somebody who is clearly no longer monitoring the forum?

Opps..my bad! Overlooked that!

That being the case and if Central NJ is included...Having previously spent some time in Lakewood, NJ as a Medical Office Rep (and feeling very much like an outsider)...This town IMO has one of the largest concentrations of Orthodox Jews I've ever seen in ANY NJ town.

What I found intriguing was that the Orthodox Jews and Mexicans seem to be living side by side in this town....but never interacting with one another. Almost like they were ignoring each other.

2 complete opposite cultures, but peacefully co-existing by what I have observed (in the daytime that is).

Things that make you go, hmm?

Thoughts on this, anyone?

P.S. I didn't dig up this old thread and wasn't the 1st responder...lol. Just noticed it today.

Can someone point me to neighborhoods which have large Russian-Jewish populations (i.e. secular European Jews)?

I'm not really asking what the OP was asking, my question is more about the secular Russians.
