Last night, I walked in on Mark Levin's WABC Radio, and caught the tail-end of his show where he stated that due to foreclosures, New Jersey now has a "Tent City." And he named it, but I was unable to catch the name.

Does anyone know where it is? Thank you,

Yeah, Lakewood is the one that's most often in the news. I do know that a few years ago, at least, there was a similar community living on the banks of the Passaic River. Forget which town.

We need to select a better president, otherwise, most of us are going to end this way.....very sad.

And I am also wondering how The State of New Jersey, which is considered a rich state, allows something like this to take place.

There was a group of (mostly) Polish immigrants that lived by the Dundee Dam in Clifton. Not sure if they're still there

Yes, because we all know that the Great Recession and the Gulf War was all his fault. He was the catalyst of the sub-prime lending collapse and was in bed with the Wall Street Big Wigs.

Not to get overly political, but he has been in office a few months shy of 3 years now and nothing seems to be getting better (economically).

I am a resident of Tent City in Lakewood, NJ. It currently has the population of 80-90 otherwise-homeless residents, spending the winter living in shanties and tents. The population peaked in May 2013 with 122 residents. Based on what I've been able to gather, our Tent City is the largest of its kind in North Eastern USA (outside West Coast and The South).

I'll be happy to answer any questions people here have about this issue.
