My husband and I are considering buying in the Lawrenceville/Robbinsville area.

Does anyone know the best daycares in the area? How much do they charge for a full 5 day schedule for an infant?

Any help would be appreciated.

I think we paid around $325 a week for full time infant daycare in Princeton. This was at Kiddie Academy, although I drove by recently and it looks like they are under new ownership.

When we were looking this was one of the more reasonably priced places.

The best preschool in Hamilton is Mrs. Pev's Preschool on Broad St. in Yardville. Her prices are very accommodating and the staff is wonderful educationally and socially.

I saw that Lawrence Township has Pre-K for 3 (?) and 4-year-olds for $650 a month. They also have a lottery for low-income kids for free care. It looks like they have a program at Ben Franklin Elementary & one at Lawrenceville Elementary School. The info can be found on the Township's school district website. Good luck in your search.

Edit: Oops, I misread your post. Still, it's something to consider when your little one is a little older.

I realize this is a 3yr old thread but here's what we'll be paying:

$1240/mth beginning in Nov 2014 with early drop off/late pick up. 6:30am to 6:30pm. Bergen county
This is with my company's 10% discount and waiver of early drop off/ late pick up. Would've been $1500 otherwise.

The Learning Experience in Waldwick. My son was born 2 months ago and we reserved a spot for him back in March. Keep in mind that this is a franchise so the quality of care differs from one location to the next. We really liked their setup and the place was super clean (new building).

We tried to negotiate the monthly fee but they wouldn't bite since they appeared to have pretty high demand. They did however drop the registration fee which I think was $140.

i happened to live within a mile of 4 major daycare companies and i like the learning experience in somerset when we went to the open house, but when we did a random drop in to tour again, it was a 180 at this place. mainly we didnt go with them because of the staff but the facility was nice and the curriculum was too. had a few people recommend it to us but in the end we choose bright horizons since it was the closest(about 30 seconds walking) and newest with the staff we liked most. GL with daycare, I'm not looking forward to the first day i have to drop my daughter off
