CaptainNJ a man of his word, most people say there are going to do something and don't. I think everything you said in your post is true, there has to be someone out there that likes crap tasting coffee like Starbucks.
I burn my mouth on DD's 95% of the time and I never get coffee at Starbucks. Only time I go there is for the hot caramel apple cider they usually have around this time of year.
I also have a 24 hr Krauszers right around the corner from my house, known for letting you buy beer later than 10pm. I will drink their coffee, but it is never hot enough when I get it there.

I like Starbucks (crap tasting) Cappuccino. The foamy powder mix, aseptic packaged swill offered by convenience stores is unacceptable.
I don't have much experience with QuickChek, only stopped in one time. I've lived in both Wawa and Sheetz country. They have hot coffee, cold water, food and just about everything else that I need in a pit stop.
I love Quick Chek and all that, yet for all the times I applied there, I never got a call back while I applied for Wawa twice in my life and the first time I was asked to come in for an interview but wasn't able to go that far. I wish in a way that Wawa was up north as well, yet I'm not sure if a couple years back it used to be up North Jersey and further up the Northeast and then moved their operations down south. I assumed I kept hearing that, but I'm not sure if Wawa really did do that.
Yup you can see it from Rt 80. it's pretty close to the exit.
Yeah I was up there for a job interview a few months ago and saw a Wawa gas station there. I had to stop in. I said to the clerk that this is the first time I had ever seen a Wawa anywhere on the north side of the Raritan River. She said they had just opened last December.
I do not remember a Wawa near Woodbridge High, but never frequented that area too much until relatively recently.
quickchek for north and central jersey folks
wawa for south jersey folks
even though some quickcheks (call them slowcheks) are dirty as hell, are slow as hell with the services and etc, i can still get whatever i need whether it's lactose free milk, waters, tissues, ice cream compared to wawa.
This could easily turn into a North vs. South Jersey debate.
