While I'm no Wawa expert, quickcheck has some darn good coffee and the chicken pot pie soup is amazing. Clean and great staff by me. Sandwiches could be better. $0.50 32oz soda after 3:00 is tough to beat.
quickchek for north and central jersey folks
wawa for south jersey folks
even though some quickcheks (call them slowcheks) are dirty as hell, are slow as hell with the services and etc, i can still get whatever i need whether it's lactose free milk, waters, tissues, ice cream compared to wawa.
AHHH Wawa WAS for South Jersey folks but it's moving North they just opened a Wawa in Woodbrige there is one coming soon in Harrison NJ, it will be in the Walmart parking lot... both of these Wawa stores have front and rear entrances.

Actually, Wawa opened a location in Colonia, perhaps...12 or 13 years ago...so they are certainly not a stranger to Woodbridge Township.
But, I have to wonder...since I have been able to go through life without patronizing any of these establishments (QuickChek, 7-11, Wawa) more than...perhaps...five times in the past 25 years...why do some people seem to rely so much on these places?

There isn't any Wawa in Colonia today. My wife is from Woodbridge, said there used to be one near Woodbridge High, but it has long since closed. I saw the one off Rt 9 at 184, and they are putting an Aldi right next to it too. Have they actually opened yet?
I love Wawa coffee, especially now they have the pumpkin spice, and other unique little snacks like the sweet cream cheese pretzels, and lots of great sandwiches at the deli counter.

It just opened last weekend actually. It's quite big for a Wawa and really nice looking.
I'm from Northern NJ so my experience with Wawa is limited to a few coffee stops while fishing at the shore. I will say this for Quick check- $0.99 32oz soda is a cheap way to make yourself feel ill and the chicken pot pie soup is as good as any soup as I've had anywhere- not conveneince stores, but anywhere. The biz grew out of a local dairy family so it's a good "Joisey" story. Sandwiches are just OK, coffee pretty good. Employees are excellent, locally anyway
The old Wawa in Colonia is a Pantry1 now and the other is on the main street and Willary Street that was closed a long long time ago and has actually been a few different things.
