Hi
My family is considering buying a new house in NJ. We have been looking at new construction sites at both Monroe and Hillsborough and can not decide which one is better since each has pros and cons.

Monroe
Low tax; easier commute to NYC; above average school system.

Hillsborough
Higher tax; longer commute to NYC; better school system.

any comments are highly appreciated.

thank you

Monroe, as long as you are not in the "boonies". The Jamesburg area of Monroe is nice and close to civilization. The West Windsor side is pretty empty and barren.
