Hi,

We are relocating to NJ from Brazil. Our relocation company offered us Pike Run Village apts. as a temporary housing possibility. It looks good for us in terms of location (3 miles from my husband's work) and seems pretty spacious. We have 3 kids ages 13, 5 and 1. Anyone had an experience good or bad there? We have to make our decision sight unseen from Brazil so we would love so feed back from someone who knows the area/apartment buildings!

Thanks,

Ashley

Belle Mead is a very nice area. You cannot go wrong living there. Pike Run is a nice development - it includes apartments, single family homes, townhomes and condos. It was very well maintained and very safe. I know some people in Belle Mead weren't too thrilled with it since it consists of lots of townhomes and apartments (so it has a lot of people in a relatively small area). Belle Mead is a very wealthy area with a lot of nice big homes - Pike Run is one of the few more affordable areas for people who want to live there.

Pros: nice location, safe, well-maintained, access to walking paths, playgrounds and a pool. Great school system.
Cons: the walls of the apartments and condos are like paper. It's very easy to hear things in the neighboring apartments. I wouldn't suggest buying a place in Pike Run. As nice as it is, the construction never struck me as being great.

Thanks digi 21,

Our company is offering us a 3 month temp. rental there and it seems like a great fit for our family while we explore our housing options. Nice that is safe and has good schools. Your answer was excellent! Thanks again so much, Ashley
