Hi there - How long would the commute (driving) be from weehawken to parsippany near intersection of 287 and 280? I am willing to leave at 6:30 am to avoid any traffic, but I figure it is reverse commute so it shouldnt be too bad? Also what is the traffic back around 5 or 6 or 7pm?

Thanks
Sammy

it's faster to use the bus to NYC then backtrack to weehawken as the bus has it's own lane being HOV immune to traffic to NYC. Reverse NJT service is good OR drive to wayne transit center and use the train for speed the traffic is HELL.

Getting out of Weehawkin is the tough part. Driving west on Route 280 is pretty good in the morning. It can take 45 minutes to an hour.

Intersection of 280 and the 287 ramp is hell in the AM is you aren't through there by 7:30.
