My favorite is an old song called "I Like Jersey Best," most famously performed by John Pizzarelli. The lyrics are at http://www.constantreader.org/lyrics.html (broken link). His version isn't available on iTunes, but you can hear a sample of a recording by someone called Cynthia Crane (though I don't like her version that much).

"Hackensack" by Fountains of Wayne- anyone from North Jersey familiar with Route 46 West knows this place and the band named themselves after it.
"Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi- classic song you have to sing every word to when you hear it!
"Palisades Park" which was written about Palisades amusment park in Cliffside Park.
I think it was a number one hit when it came out.
Another that should be mentioned is Frankie Valli's "My eyes adored you"...Which has the line "Walking home every day over the Barneget brigde and bay"
What's your favorite NJ song? I love "I'm from New Jersey" by John Gorka.
