I have tried for a good 6 months for jobs in NJ, NY city and Philly.

I'm going to run a couple of test drives during the busy hours going through GWB, NY city and GSP, Tapan Zee to get an idea. Also I'll give it a try of public transportation suggested by 'qjbusmaster'
It's stupidly easy for schedule click here http://transportation.westchestergov..._timetable.pdf For the connecting bus from White plains MNRR to mastercard. Then here for train schedule http://www.mta.info/mnr/html/plannin..._16%202011.pdf and finally for bus to grand central click here http://www.coachusa.com/CoachUsaAsse...9/route300.pdf

the total trip time is drum roll please 2 hours and 27 mins you take 5:20 AM bus then take 6:46 am train then 7:32 am bus to reach mastercard. Trust me it's alot easier than it sounds. At the return if you can't get a 3 walk to the 12 bus stop and use that to get your train to NY for buses to NJ.
