Hi,

Can anyone tell me some information about the autism program in Woodbridge School District? I'm also confused about the structure of the district. Which towns are the best to move to within that district?

Thanks

Well, not specifically related to the autism services, but the "best" areas of Woodbridge Township are generally Colonia and parts of Woodbridge proper. Iselin would be next, followed by Sewaren, Port Reading, Menlo Park Terrace, Avenel, Hopelawn and Keasbey. I'm not sure if all of the schools in the district offer special services for autism, but I'd think you could find out with a few phone calls.

As a 35 year veteran of the Woodbridge Twp School District, I can echo what Bob Kovacs stated, but want to add another detail.
It doesn't matter whether the nearest elementary school offers Autism Services or not. Children are commonly transported around the district for specialized programs like education for the autistic.
