This would be for a simple lifestyle- one bedroom apartment, utilities, food, clothing, phone, internet, cable, basic car, car insurance, gas, car maintenance, computer, small pet, gifts, and a one-week basic vacation.

You can provide an estimate both with, and without, a basic health insurance plan premium.

In terms of central New Jersey, I am speaking of areas like Old Bridge, South Amboy, East Brunswick, etc.

I am just trying to figure out about how much it would cost to live in this area. Thank you for your advice.

Depends on too many factors (i.e. if you own a car or need to pay monthly installments; your driving history which will determine your insurance, eating habits, etc). But overall, it can range anywhere from $2500 to $3500 per month.

Thanks. An estimate provided as a range is fine. It gives me a sense of the average annual cost.
