Edison train station parking? (best, phone, monthly)

I've moved back into the area, and I'm about 5 minutes from the Edison train station now... but there are no monthly passes for parking (unfortunately), and the best guess by the folks on the phone is by the Fall there might be some.

The question is, how many daily spots are available on average? I will get to the station around 7:30-7:45 or so on average, so will I be able to get a spot with reliability?

I know the extended lot is there now, so that's why I ask.
