Our son is 18......dr wouldn't give me script because our son is 18......Our son agreed to the drug test and went with my husband to get script.....Well my son has "left' me his urine sample in cup......HMMMM........Of course I am going to discard it and start over.........Does anyone out there know what kids DO to cover up drug in tests.......Thanks

There's this tea they buy over the counter, don't know the name, but I recalled when I worked a company that required new hires to take a test, some of the guys use to talk about it.

To me it's kind of like erasing the browser history on the computer. It's really all the proof you need to know they're looking at something they're not supposed to.

The most common thing that kids do is use a "non-users'" urine.
There is also synthetic urine readily available, on line, and very popular among heavy marijuana users.

Diuretics, caffeine, cranberry juice and "detoxifying" herbal teas will minimize the concentration of some drugs.
Copious quantities of water will also dilute the concentration of some drugs (mostly marijuana).

Chemicals like bleach and visine added to the urine sample will result in a tainted result.

The collection of the sample is crucial, watch him submit the sample and make sure the lab you are using, to test the sample, follows proper proceedure.

Believe me of course we thought he could be using some one else's urine.....We've already talked with him about how my husband will be there with him while he urinates in the specimen cup.........Good thoughts our way are quite powerful.......for us as well as my son........

What's it cost for hair follicle? This may be why people shave their heads, but you can use any body hair, as long as it's two inches. You only need to collect sufficient to fill the comparable diameter of a pencil.

In addition to the previously mentioned herbal approaches (Goldenseal and other herbs), supposedly drinking a significant quantity of vinegar will wipe out evidence of marijuana use in one's urine. However, the most frequent way of trying to beat a urine test is to use the urine of someone else who is not a drug abuser.

As was suggested, a hair follicle test is the best way to test for drug use, and the hair follicles will reveal drug use dating back as far as 2 months.

The most likely thing is use a clean sample that he gets from someone else (they check temperature when done at labs) or dilution (drinking massive quantities of water to dilute the drug residue so that it registers as negative). Check the color for that, although he might take B vitamins to make it dark yellow again. If you want to make sure, get his sample first thing in the morning, and have your hubby be in the bathroom with him.
