Been Driving and walking around Hoboken lately to take the path....never seen soo many pretentious, rude, high and mighty people in my life. It's a nice town but the people just sucks.

OK, you are stereotyping but there is some truth to what you say.
My wife and I are really cool people- we'll all get a beer sometime.

I get that vibe in the inner city, but not so much in the areas(closer to the water, bars, restaurants) where the many tourist hang out. I guess they want the business.

How does Hoboken have an "inner city"??? The entire town is what, like 5 blocks wide for the most part???

Hoboken used to be a really fun town when I moved here, but in the past 3-4 years all the d'bags have moved in, and they really are ruining it. My building is turning into the biggest gathering of a-holes this side of SoHo. Very unfriendly, self absorbed people who could care less about being neighborly.

Here is the trick I do to call people out on their stupidity. If I am in my building I always say "hi how ya doin?" to the people in the elevator or in the hall, and 9 times out of 10 they won't say a word back so very loudly I say "that's really good to hear! me? I am doing outstanding, thanks for asking!!!" It usually freaks them out and gets them uncomfortable.

It's fun to let people think there is a loose cannon living next to them.

Hoboken used to be a hell of a good city. I remember my cousin lived there for about a year, around 1998-99. The neighborhood really started to change around then. Hoboken used to represent something, really Jersey attitude. The last time I was there, in late 2004, the transformation was near complete.

One of the most maddening aspects of this transformation, however, is that Hoboken remains an Abbott district. You would think with the associated gentrification this distinction would be lifted from the city. (there shouldn't be any Abbotts IMO, but that's a whole nother thread)

LOL or I can ruin their typical Hoboken uniform...

Leased 325i BMW, Kenneth Cole shoes (Black) Kenneth Cole pants (black) and some obnoxiously loud striped shirt.

It's like looking at a gathering of zebras on a Typical Friday night. They all look the same.

Now that is F-ing hilarious!! I always do this when I hold the door open for somebody and I don't get a "thank you"...I always reply with "oh..you're very welcome...have a nice day"...I guess its rude to do this but I think I get my point across...
