We are looking at a rental at weehawken on blvd e close to the lincon tunnel. Is this safe area ? Safe for a lady and a kid ?

Hi!!
I live in edgewater(next town after weehawken) and am trying to rent out my apartment. We have lived here for almost 8 years and are now relocating. This is a wonderful community and pretty safe - I use to take the 10:00pm bus from NYC and then walk home from the bus-stop - never had any issues. It is a great place for kids too - my son just loves all the parks nearby and the edgewater library and its activities.....
