BYW, I did work for Seaman's Bank For Saving, on 30 wall street years ago, and I saw the mass foreclosures then.
Seamans was bought by Bank of North America and then I don't know who bought it after that. So, I'm not lying.
I doubt the person that posted is rich, they would not have time to frequent these boards, I know my husband has no time.Diane
Honey, your husband isn't rich. If he was even within spitting distance of being rich, you wouldn't think 10k was a lot to pay in property taxes.

Let's break this down. Transitive property says if A=B, and B=C, then A=C. SO!

rich = no time to post
no time to post = your husband
ergo, rich=your husband

And you say Manalapan ppl are snobs who FLAUNT?!?!?!?!!? Isn't this the very definition of flaunt? On top of it all, it's incredibly tacky.

(i guarantee the response will end up talking about some neighbor who used to live here and now is suffering from chronic hemorrhoids due to NJ toilets)

Likewise. I've gotta get my speed bump action since I'm not rich either, but I sure as heck need to justify paying for my Internet access! Woe is me.

For a 3 bedroom 1 bath house, that is alot. I was paying less in Manalapan, with 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, Swimming Pool, 1 1/4 acres. Of course its at $12,000 now but its not 1 bathroom.I doubt I could live with 1 bathroom anymore.
My sisters house in LI, and LI has high taxes, much bigger, $9200 a yr.My husband makes 6 figures, I didn't say I was Rich, but we are extremly comfortable. My taxes are $3500 here for a Mcmansion, 44 windows, that is why I said that was high.
