My wife took off from her job using the family leave act to care for our new child. She has an opportunity to get a part time job on Saturdays, where I can watch the baby. I've tried to look up the law, but it doesn't specifically say you can't work during family leave far as I can see. Can anyone provide clarification on the law?

There is some info out on the 'net about this, but I would be very careful.

in this case the court stood up for the company’s right to forbid employees from working while they’re on medical leave

Working another job on leave: Is it FMLA abuse?

Is this 2nd job worth risking losing her FMLA benefits or her primary job?
