Nope- you're the only one who's taxes went up. You may want to call city hall, because everyone else in the state just got a 30% tax cut

Good one Bob, Didn't you just get the homeowners rebate check in the mail. Its election time. Well as for me they raised the taxes 1,700 and then they give me back 1,000 and I'm supposed to be happy and thank them.

Default Higher Taxes

Taxes in the Garden State are outrageous. I live in Jefferson Twp (Morris County) and they did a re-evaluation of property lines recently. My taxes went up about $1300. I am a regular working class guy with 2 kids and a motgage who makes about $60,000 - $65,000 per year and I am being priced right out of this state. The burbs of NJ are becoming home to only the upper middle class. It's a shame b/c I grew up in NJ and would love to stay but cannot afford to.

It's over $2300, I know that much...weird. I know they went up too, just not by $1000 increments, like they did in NJ.
