Hi,

I plan to move to princeton junction area and take train from hamilton train station to nyc for regular commute. Does anyone have similar experiences to share? I would like to know how tough the trip is.

Thank you.

Jerry

Princeton Junction has its own station, so you could travel from there. Not sure if they have a parking area though.

Default Not bad

It's not bad, express trains from Hamilton to NYC take just under an hour (58 min. to be exact) and run every 15-20 min during rush hours.

It's not bad at all. I do from Princeton Junction to NYC all the time. Hamilton is 7 minutes longer. Plenty of express trains. Parking at Hamilton is more expensive than PJ, but not by much.

The toughest part is the obscenely high $425 monthly ticket. So we're talking a commute of more than $5,000 a year without parking at the train station or possibly needing a Metro card to take the subway once you've arrive in west Midtown. We'll assume the job pays very well.
