I'm trying to close my ezpass account. I sent the tag back over 2 weeks ago, but they still have my account open. The only thing I can think of is to call my bank and deny anything ezpass tries to debit.

Any suggestions?

yeah, did that. they say it takes over a month, which I refuse to believe. I'm going to wind up calling my bank I guess.

It did take over a month when we returned our tags.

Why would they debit you if there are no tolls being charged to the transponder? This doesn't seem like something you have to worry about.

Unless of course your EZpass transponder is still in the mail truck and he's going through tolls every day.
