My words to them: Not without a warrant. Needless to say... standing up for yourself, and your rights, is the only way. Or else you getting walked all over.

People watch COPS too much. You do not have to talk to police. You can remain silent... Every time you give them an inch? They take 10 miles.

What does that have to do with anything. Srs
WTF? They were wrong. You guys are acting like this is Copland or something. The cop didn't say "I'ma get me some out towners", stop them for nothing, yank them out of the car, and plant pot on them. Annnnnnd, we're getting their side. Their side is saying they were speeding and had pot. That's the good version. I can imagine how it really went down. I know these punk types, I'm not some old bitty bee, I'm 29. They do what they want and disrespect you, even the law. Then when they're put in they're place, everyone else is wrong.

they were not wrong. there is absolutely nothing wrong with having drugs. who exactly were they disrespecting? you probably drive more than a few mph over the speed limit on a daily basis, most of us that arent 60+ years old do.

It's legal to have drugs that weren't prescribed to you in NJ? Last time I checked, pot was illegal in NJ. It was illegal in most (or all) states around the time they were pulled over. No, I don't speed. I never enjoyed it when my father used to speed when I was a child. This is your whole point. If you personally don't agree with a law, you don't have to follow it. Well, the next time someone does something illegal to you, good for you. If you don't have to follow the laws, no one does.

You really don't see the difference between racial profiling and planting evidence (Copland) and some punks acting like punks while having drugs and speeding? Ok, you can stay. You're not one of the good ones.

what does legal have to do with what is right or wrong? you are 29 years old. you should be able to decide what you consume without government arresting you for it. i dont need a master to take care of me, do you?

my whole point is that you shouldnt justify the abuses of a tyrannical government.

Hopefully, you're never robbed or assaulted. According to you, we can pick and choose what laws we follow as adults. Nana booboo to you, because you don't need anyone to take care of you.

Nana boo boo. Im not encouraging it? But. A little hint: People, even police, pick and choose which laws they follow, on a daily basis. I will now give proof: Cops, driving streets with their ear to the phone. That is against the law, AND departmental policy. They just may ticket someone for doing the same and interrupt their phone call to do so, too. Next, we move on to your drive. You do NOT drive 25MPH where it says. No. Not even cops do, most of the time. And we can go from there..

Everybody, everyday. Doesn't make it right. But there IS no model citizen.

Maybe some cops do, but I don't. I only break laws (sometimes) that I don't know are laws, but that's different because if I'm told to stop it I do.
