Hi,
I have moved with my family recently to US and will have to commute to NY for work.
We have decided on an apt at Edison Glen Terrace and were told that there is a shuttle service to Metuchen station.
I am not finding exact information abt it though. I mean which bus number and how near from apt complex it will stop and what is the frequency like, when is the first shuttle and when is the last shuttle both ways etc etc.
Also while searching this forum I found mentions of Edison jitney and metuchen jitney. Do any of these also serve area near "Edison Glen Terrace"?
I would really appreciate your responses and hoping that I can take some shuttle which suits my train time and won't have to take car or have somebody from family drop me by car.
Thanks,
new to US and worried and confused.

Help !
Please I would appreciate any help on my question above abt the shuttle services.
I have checked websites for NJ transit, also for Edison and Metuchen jitney, but could not make out if any of those buses are useful for me from Edison Glen Terrace, on main street...
Thanks folks in advance.

Shuttle
Metuchen township has a free shuttle service to the train station, you will have to check the route to make sure it passes through your apartment or vicinity.
Edison township has a paid shuttle service (about a $1 or so one way, not sure) that picks up people in the evening from Edison train station (last shuttle leaves station at 7:15 or so) and drops off folks in the morning.
The schedules for both are attached here for your reference.

I'm pretty sure that neither of those shuttles go past (or near) his complex, and none of NJ Transit's loop buses do either.
I still say ask the apartment complex manager- it could be something they pay for in conjunction with a few other complexs.

Did you read the posts above?? They include the routing of the shuttles, as well as the contact number for Edison Glen.
