I love the devils, but they are getting beat by a much better team. Nothing is getting by Quick

Wow, momentum changer was the 5 on 3 penalty kill by the kings. Quick was on (as usual), Marty was not, and now the devils look like they might get swept.

We will see but it very well looks like that is what's going to happen. Anyway I will hold my full opinions until after the series.

At Least I got to see a Jersey team in the finals, which was great for me. My heart was broken when the nets officially moved.

Never said that they were not pumped for the finals, but they seem emotionally spent. Couple that with a team that is playing out of their minds and you are sown 3-0.
Like I said, neither of these teams deserve to be there. The NHL allows too many teams into the playoffs. You run into an 8 seed with a hot goalie and you are out. It renders the regular season meaningless. Bit, its all about the money, so nothing will change.
BTW, this is one of the worst Cup finals that I can remember.

Do they realize they are playing for the Stanley Cup and not the Red Solo Cup....

So you've only been watching hockey since the playoffs in 2000?

I have not heard clutching & grabbing being an issue from anywhere. Certainly not in the Flyers series.
Then you don't really follow hockey do you? Go back a couple pages and I posted several lengthy articles discussing it.

The title of the thread for New Jersey's ONLY professional sports team in the New Jersey C.D. forum is entitled "Support The Devils. Let's get it on" not "Let's Have A General Discussion of Hockey." Of course there will be trolling from Flyers and Rangers fans as expected and that's fine. If there was a Support the Flyers thread I wouldn't waste my keystrokes on "they're good, BUT their fans are all low-class scum and I don't like their offensive/defensive system"
New Jersey's ONLY professional sports team that almost no one in the state cheers for. Since most of NJ is composed of Flyers and Rangers fans and this is a NJ forum, it isn't exactly "trolling" for those fans to be in the thread now is it?

As for low-class scum, well your words, not mine.

That was the pivotal moment in the game. I never thought the Devil's were going to be on the verge of getting swept. I picked the Devil's to win, but even if that didn't happen I expected a much closer series.
