We know of a guy that is from Jersey and some how has permanent disability through a former employer. We have heard that he works under the table, draws a $400 check a week from NC, he rides ATV, etc.

Life isn't fair?

Everyone gets theres in the end I guess.

Since you obviously needed to get this off your chest, what is his actual disability?

If he's stealing, turn him in. He's a lawbreaker.

I think you are a busy body, quite frankly. You "heard" he works under the table and I assume you also "heard" that he draws a check of $400. You have nothing on this guy. One doesen't have to show an impairment to be disabled anyway. I have a handicapped placard that I use occasionally because I have pinched nerves in my back and can't walk any great distance. For all intent and purposes I don't appear "disabled". I would imagine when people see me get out of my car on those occasions they speculate that I am getting over or something. I may have been like that once myself, but trust me I would rather be able to walk without pain than save myself a few steps in parking. So..my point in all this is that things are not always as they seem. You are wasting your energy and being judgemental based on heresay. And even if everything that you suspect is true he will probobly be found out one day.

Even on permant disability thru SSI or SSD you are allowed to earn up to 500 per mo. This is not cheating.

This is definelty not true..Check the new Social Security "Work Ticket" program. I thought the same thing. You have to tell them every cent you make. No longer is the 500.00 a month in effect.

Yeah-disabled doesn't mean "cripple". He could be classified for a ton of disabilities that you would never see.

I agree w/NJ Tina.

Or he could just be a nutcase who can't work because he's mentally challenged.

He could be a veteran who can't function because he just watched a family get blown up.

He could have been in NY after 9/11 and can't cope with the aftermath.

He could just be a fraud, a crook and a con artist.

Who knows????!!!!! Leave it alone.
