I checked out the MLS and there doesn't seem to be many rentals listed for Montclair? Is there a better place to look than the MLS?
Also, I am looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath near a downtown area with a nice coffee shop and bookstore, but not too close to any of the nightlife. I'll need a garage. Any suggestions where I should look? Also, how much should I expect to pay for an updated apartment including base rent, water, electric, gas, etc. Any estimate would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any info and advice!
For rentals in Montclair, I think you'll probably have better luck with Craigslist. If you're not familiar with the area, though, a realtor would also be a good bet. It's expensive, but might be worth it, especially if you're short on time.

Thanks much. Yes, I have been researching for the last few days and it does look like that inventory is low (especially for newer than 20+ years) and either craigslist or realty agent. I have plenty of time and will be visiting Montclair in a few weeks to check out possibilities. Thanks again for your help.
