Not that your post makes any sense or that I owe you any explanation, but if you are a gay family with children living in Bergenfield or Cresskill, how would you rate your experience living there and your experience with the schools?

Yep, I would agree... and i'd add Mullica Hill, Lambertville, Princeton area, and there are actually quite a few gay couples living here in rural Salem County, for the low population.

NJ to me is a gay-friendly state, as others have said.

The City of Trenton has great gayborhoods. Exquisite old homes and town houses just waiting for renovations are not only inexpensive but low, low taxes for NJ. Cadwalader Heights is probably the most beautiful suburban city neighborhood. Hiltonia on the other side of the park is less grand but still borders the park. For people who want down town or walking distance to the train, try a townhouse in Mill Hill. Due to neighbors who want Trenton real-estate to be restored they welcome gay couples who have a strong track record for making the city a better place.
