What is up with this state? I waited 9 months for a lousy $25 refund last year and now cannot even download the current 1040 to file taxes?

Even if you could download it, fill it out and submit it, NJ wouldn't even look at it for a couple more weeks. The IRS begins processing January 20, and I doubt NJ starts before then.

Sent me a bill took 3 phone calls to get someone with a brain cell. They couldn't find my return so I had to resend. Must be the new way to balance the budget I guess just play games with tax returns.

It took me something like 6 months for me to get my return back from NJ last year as well. I've lived in other states so I have a benchmark to compare it to - NJ is really slow when it comes to sending out tax refunds / returns.
