I don't know whether to laugh or cry reading this thread. I can certainly sympathize. Our (new) neighbor has a gutter business- all his trucks and trailers say gutter on it. He parks so his biga$$ stinkin gutter trailer is directly in front of our house. The nice shiny truck is in front of his- the gutter trailer in front of ours-. We will be putting ours on the market shortly- the real estate agent will have to time her pictures so the gutter trailer will be gone- or maybe we will just leave our recycle or garbage can out there- real classy I know..........

I thought most of NJ townships had ordinances that didn't allow the parking of commercial trucks on the street unless they are there performing work?
I once parked in front of someone's house just 2 blocks from the theater because there were no free spots left. When I got out and walked back to the car, the homeowner was standing there and confronted me. He said you can't park here. I looked up and saw the street sign and says nothing about it. I told him, I have every right to park here. The guy said this is his property that he pays taxes. I told him we all pay taxes but this is street parking and I have every right to park here. He was about to have a fist fight with me so I warned him if he really had the right he could've had my car towed because he has no right he is just trying to threaten people.

I can understand his frustrations as a homeowner myself but there's nothing he can do about it. Old boomer like him trying to start a fight with me about a parking spot is just pathetic. If I win beating up an old man, I lose in public and if I lost I still lose.
A lot of NJ's boomer population seemed to be that way these days, very rude and always fretting about taxes and urbanization of their neighborhoods.
