And according to this survey, NJ schools are ranked #2 in the country. We're usually in the top 3 or 4.

I guess that means (most) of our schools are high performing. Yes we pay a lot in taxes. But we do have good public schools. Don't believe all the anti-teacher hype.

Well, USA is the best country on the planet, doesn't mean, people aren't suffering more than a 3rd world country like China.

What matters is your household rating amount your peers.

I believe we could lower our taxes while maintaining all the teachers and school services/organizations currently offered. How? Reduce administration. I'm not necessarily advocating for county-wide school districts, but I do think there are significant savings to be gained by switching away from our outdated system of overlapping k-8/9-12 districts etc etc and moving towards more regional k-12 districts.
