Agreed. I live in Toms River and I see it a lot it here only because they have to drive through my town to get into Seaside, but when I'm in any other Jersey town it is pretty much non-existent.

I am Italian by genetics (3rd generation) and although I act like a normal person, my cousins who live in New York act and look like the Jersey Shore cast

When I was younger I was trained by my parents not to accept stereotypes and rejected all of them out of hand. Now that I am older and have traveled all over the world and met so many people, I have a different opinion. I believe that in MOST CASES stereotypes ARE true. Especially regional stereotypes.
