Lez taowk sum fu-ball. I am talking about high school football

Who will be number in Jerz this year?

I dont think it will be Don Bosco. They just lost to Gilman from Maryland. They have an inexperienced QB who has tons of upside. They lost their best player in Jabrill Peppers because he felt he did not fit in. The whole team is pretty noobish. They are going to SOUTH FLORIDA this Friday to PLAY ST THOMAS AQUINAS, a known commodity in the recruiting world. I hope they rep us well

Bergen Catholic has a tough tough out of state schedule. They already beat St Anthony from Long island, and will play Bishop Gorman from Nevada, and Cocoa from Florida. Their QB has big game experience, and I think they return a lot of starters from those big games.

St Peters seems to be loaded this year. From Jonathan Hilliman, Charles Calinan, Beerfield and Fitzpatrick in the backfield, they have lots of awesome athletes. But I dont think they are all that experienced. They have a pretty soft out of state schedule.

I actually think BC will be DBP this year, and move on the play St Pete.

Don Bosco Prep survives St Thomas Aquinas in South Florida 20-10 thanks to some miscues on STA special teams.

BC still looking like #1!!! And Paramus Catholic doing fine with Peppers on board this year. Is anyone else tired of the traveling and recruiting machine that Don Bosco has become?

Bergen Catholic has been doing some traveling itself too. They went to Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas last night, and outgunned another national power 42-35.

I think they should let the schools recruit, and let them travel to play. It is better for the development of the young athlete. They should move up in level of difficulty if they can. They can only get better doing so. No fair in forcing them to play small public schools so let them go cross country to find opponants.

Got news for you, it's been going on for decades. It's much worse now that they have national profiles where they have kids travelling from Union County & other far flung places to play at the "Big 3" St. Joe's best RBs and WRs have generally come from Rockland County since they don't have a legit Catholic program up there. They're allowed to do it, of course, but it's not the same as building a program with the kids all from one district. I'll give credit to Coach Toal of DB. He's done it at public schools (River Dell & Hackensack) and at DB.

It's the main reason why the public schools haven't stood a chance against them in the last 20 years.
