This is exactly why the illegal problem infuriates me. There are too many employers who put on airs about being solid citizens who care about their community, and so on. Yet they won't give jobs to American citizens and legal immigrants who pay taxes and whose money will go back into the community.

There should be penalties for those who hire illegals.

The following article provides some details on a guy from Massachusetts who had illegals tending his lawn for 10 years. It seems that their immigration status only became problematic for him when he decided to run for public office.

Retreiver Romney can not be expected to check the work status of every employee that works for a company he hires. I have a lawn service with spanish employees should I assume they are illegal?

I have to say that I enjoyed the article. The bottom line is that there is widespread tolerance of illegals being employed by numerous companies (lawn services, contractors, restaurants).......and that ain't good!

If you're running for office, you probably should. He has five sons, they can cut the lawn.
