I've been upstate since Thursday at a prof conference. Cuomo declared a state of emergency for NY yesterday. Haven't really had time to pay attention and was so tired this afternoon I got back to my hotel, put the TV on and fell asleep--woke up to a guy talking about hurricane Irene and its projected path. He said it twice--Irene. That caught my attention so I opened my eyes and at the end the guy said, "More later on Hurricane SANDY." Someone must have held up a sign or something saying "This one's Sandy, you moron." LOL.
