isnt there a park n ride option?

also looking at all the responses, is it reasonable to assume that the commute time will be on an average 1hr20 mins to 1hr40min one way door to door?
not really many. And the ones that exist have long waits. You can live close to North Ave/Midway and walk to the bus. Not as expensive as a house where you can walk to the train.

From the SP/Westfield Border, you can get to port authority in 50 minutes early in the morning. Add 10-15 for later in the morning

Default Ride to NYC every day

I recently moved to scotch plains area and 6 days of the week I drive at 5-6am to midtown Manhattan. Is there I drive a luxary car and can take 4 people every day. I would pick up at one spot and every day either 530am or 6am on the dot head to midtown. 718-869-1160

Raritan Valley Line takes too long during rush hour, it doesn't run as frequent so I normally see people simply drive and park around Newark.
