We are looking to lease a 3 bedroom apartment or townhouse within walking distance to a train or light rail for an easy commute into NYC. Is anyone familiar with the Liberty Townhouses on Ash Street? Is that a safe area? The rents seem so much lower than in other parts of JC. They are newer. Any help would be appreciated!

Its an iffy Area , there are still alot of drug and crime problems in that area...but they seem to be dropping. But I wouldn't purchase or rent anything there just yet.
