I work in Wayne and my hubby in Princeton. I think there will be job opportunities for me around Bridgewater area in next few years. We are currently looking for house in Basking Ridge area. There's not many houses coming out, so we are thinking of expanding our search area to Warren.

We are looking at 700-850K range for a 4 br SFH. We have 2 school age kids so school is the top priority. Anybody can comment on the two towns? Thanks.

Both are good, one is old money, one is new money. Flip a coin.

Both are similar, I was raised in BR and live in Warren currently. I prefer Warren as there are less developments and people seem a bit more down to earth and less snobby than in BR.

Basking Ridge has a small town feel, great community events and more homes are popping up every day, so check the listings again!
