Let me start by saying I LOVE this town. I am looking to move here with my husband and a child on the way! I don't know much about the different neighborhoods though I have heard the talk about north v south but sounds like talk that happens with any town so that doesn't really bother me but wondered if anyone could give me any specifics about the different neighborhoods around tamaques way and grant avenue. Hoping for lots of families and youngish people and so far have looked in those neighborhoods. THanks!

Both great neighborhoods, i know the area around Tamaques a little bit better. It's a really great park to live near with a great jogging path and lots of recreation, and alot of nice residential streets, especially between Willow Grove and Shackamaxon. I think you will find lots of families with school-age kids in all parts of Westfield. The schools are such a draw and the taxes can be quite high so there's a pretty good turnover on older couples moving to escape the taxes. No bad parts of town though if you care the streets near the Clark border off Central are probably the "least desirable" (still great imo).

Thanks so much!! I think the park is a huge draw for us and definitely has us leaning towards Tamaques. Thanks for the info!
