Parking at Newark airport in long term parking is like $18.00/day. Do you recommend any offsite parking lots that are cheap and reliable? I've been looking at various lots nearby and some park your car for you but don't know if I trust someone to hold my keys for a few days while I'm away. Others quote a cheap price but when you go to reserve it, they charge you extra fees.
I have used The Parking Spot at both Haynes and McClellan for years without issue. I particularly used them when it is expected to snow (they clean-off the car and have it warm on my arrival.). PS: In the in-flight magazine, their is normally a discount count that I remove and use on my return).
You can also use Parking Spot 2 or Haynes that have self parking.
If you use the valet ANYWHERE (particularly restaurants). I only leave my car key - no house key and I remove my registration, insurance card and anything with my home address.
Just don't use Vista as they damaged my husband's truck and our insurance co had no luck trying to recoop the $500 deductible. Major major run around with different phone numbers that for the most part were never answered.

I use ABC in Elizabeth. A bit hard to find (address is North Ave East but you have to take the North Ave West exit to get to it, IIRC), but reliable and less expensive. Usually there's an internet coupon available.
i think its more lik 24 a day at newark. i think its about 18 a day at kennedy. whenever i go i look at all those parked cars and think that they must be printing money when it comes to parking fees.

I like the Parking Spot locations too. No frills, the shuttles come and go relatively frequently, and they're reasonably priced. They must have recently changed ownership at one of the locations...I got a free bottled water and a frequent user's card.
