Have finally saved up a down payment and we will be moving from Bergen to Morris. Looking mainly in the Rockaway, Parsippanny, Denville, Roxbury areas. Anyone had positive experiences with buyers agents that cover that area? Also looking for local mortgage lender recommendation. Thanks!
Our agent was out of East Hanover, but showed us plenty of places in Morris Township and Morris Plains before we finally decided on a house in Essex County. She was fantastic. Not sure if your towns are a bit far. If that may work out, though, I can message you her contact information.
I also very much like Anthony Dragone of Dependable Mortgage in Parsippany: (973) 316-4999. He helped me with my mortgage on my first place 9 years ago and I still recommend him to people.
FYI our insurance agent (in Denville) and our attorney (in Madison) were both fantastic; we hardly ever had to see them in person but they worked quickly and were always on our side.
