Hey everyone,

I've been putting a lot of time and effort into looking for an apartment and so far it's been really challenging as a first timer looker... Would love to hear some suggestions for particular places to look. Thank you for the help all.

Where are you coming from?
Currently live in Union, NJ

Why are you moving?
Need more space

Where will you be working ? If NYC, what part of NYC?
Variable... I work from home, travel within Northern NJ, and all of Manhattan for my job working with customers

Will you buy or rent?
Rent

What is your budget ?
I can spent upward to $1500-$1600 on rent alone

What kind of place are you looking for ?
A nice place haha A newer community or building would be fantastic. One bedroom would work, but two bedroom would be perfect for a home office.

Will anyone (spouse, children, pets) be moving with you ?
Girlfriend of 5 years (Currently living together now)

Do you need/want good public schools?
No

Briefly describe the kind of neighborhood you'd like to live in
Safe and clean with transit options.

Thanks all!

List things that are important to you in order of importance.
-Easy to get to NYC via NJTransit
-Central air
-Cat friendly
- Fios? haha... Fast internet is a huge plus

I've also tried looking in Middlesex and Union county as well with this criteria. Anything that can get me to a train which can get me access to Newark & NYC.
