Hello,

I am planning on moving to Fairfield (Essex County), NJ. I want to know about the train service on montclair-boonton line from Montclair State University to Midtown Manhattan Penn Station.

NJ Transit website says it takes approx. 55 minutes one way from Montclair State University to Penn Station, New York. Is it usually around that time or does the train gets late usually?

Also, want to know if there are other options available to get into midtown Manhattan from Fairfield, NJ.

Thank you in advance.

the train from msu is usually around that time, i've been on it from msu to newark and it was quick. however, you may be best off by taking an njt bus to nyc from willowbrook mall.

Also searched a bit about Willowbrook Park and Ride, how long does usually take for port authority?
