I think this is great. I cant stand people not even doing speed limit in the "passing" lane. If multiple cars are passing you on your right, you shouldnt be there. I'll pass someone on the right, get in front of them, slow down, force them to get over, and then take off. This goes for any multiple lane roads, not just highways.

New Yorkers in Caddies are gonna HATE this law. They're responsible for 50% of left lane hogging.

Down here it's Pennsylvanians, on the AC Expressway, 55 and the Parkway heading to the shore. Usually in big-a** SUV's with bikes on the back and luggage on top.

That's fine with us, not passing. I hope you follow the rules and courtesy of relinquishing the passing lane once you are done with it. Easy concept, plain courtesy even if it wasn't the law.

Most of the time most of us have no need to pass, but this law creates a safer more orderly environment for when someone does, promotes a safer drive and allows for emergency situations to be handled easier.

If your content with driving barely speed limit, stay right! That is all. I have road rage, because one slow person (usually a senior citizen) can make me late for work.
