I know the Shore traffic can be horrible in the summer. If I leave Long Island around 8pm and get to the Garden State around 9, will I be alright? How long do you think it will take? Thanks

Shouldn't be much traffic that late in the evening. You should be fine. Some web apps have a traffic layer you can turn on to see any delays, but after rush hour things should clear up.

Roughly 2 hours @ 80 MPH from Paramus Parkway entrance (assuming you're coming over GW to Rt.4 west and onto the Parkway). You'll have no problems if you hit the pkway at 9pm.

Seems to me going over the Gee Dub to the shore would be the longest way to go.

Thanks. Wouldn't be taking the GW. Would take the outer bridge crossing to the Garden state.

Got it, then you're looking at roughly an hour and a half once you're on the parkway right before Driscoll bridge.
