These Meteorologists don't have a clue. They are wrong most of the time and get paid big bucks, yet they never own up to their mistakes. I picked the wrong profession.

And yes the heat is getting to me

They were definitely there at some point before 10PM when I got off the Parkway and onto the Turnpike tonight. I could see em in the distance in the sky when I was leaving Shrewsbury at 9:30.

Still humid as hell when I got back home though!

Ha, I was at the Chicken Kitchen in Shrewsbury at 9 and there was lots of lightning to the north, but nothing ever came our way.

If you want a "real" weather forecast you need to go to the National Weather Service's website (NOAA National Weather Service). Where I live there was only a 30% chance of storms yesterday according to NWS, which is basically nothing. Sure enough, there were no storms in this area. The TV weathermen are "always wrong" because their forecasts are driven by TV ratings and creating hype. They were hyping up the storms all week and kept talking about the potential for severe weather. The only places that ended up getting storms yesterday were along I-78 and some parts of south Jersey.

In Toronto the heat and humidity is already gone. On friday it was 35 C feeling like 48 C and then all hell broke loose and there was golf-ball sized hail and tornadoes and 120 km/h winds. Gotta love the Northeast.
