I need information on parking availability at Princeton Junction train station on weekends and in the evening during the week.

Is space routinely available?
Any permits required?
How do you pay?
What is the cost?

Any help will be appreciated by this soon to be relocated Bostonian.

You need a permit, regardless of the time of day. The wait, when I lived there about eight years ago, was five years. I hear it's even longer now. I think there are some metered spaces, but they go quickly, again, regardless of the time of day.

Mad-Dog,
Parking is available at the Princeton Jct station on weekends and in the evening at the Wallace Rd and Station Dr. lots. These are token/hourly lots, the rate is $4.00 for a 24 hour period. You can buy your tokens at the machine (bills only).
The Wallace Rd lot is on the NY side of the tracks and Station Dr. is on the south bound side.
There is plenty of parking for weekend and evening hours.

Default Sloan instead

I recommend the Sloan Ave station which is only minutes away and now has a 5 story deck.

Sloane Ave is the Hamilton station. It's the next stop south.
There are no parking decks at Princeton Junction just lots which can be confirmed at the NJTransit.com website.
