Hey people, this is my very FIRST post on this forum so excuse me if I'm asking this question in the wrong place... but I will be relocating to the area (grad school in South Orange) and there are two places that I saw and liked (one in W Orange and one in Newark, right next door to the boogie man). Does anyone know of any SMALL gyms in the area? One that can be paid month-to-month? I'd like to stay away from the Bally's, LA Fitness, Curves and anything similar. Thanks!!!!!

Coliseum gym in Newark is pretty good. NYSE downtown is quite nice but can be expensive. I'm unfamiliar with W. Orange gyms

ps: if you don't know city-data yet, they'll blast you on the Newark thing I promise you

I can't help you out there, but I'm looking at moving to W.O. (have job offers there), as well. Good luck, and welcome!

(p.s. the boogie man joke made me smile )

Are you going to Seton Hall? They have a gym there for students to use.
