Hello,

Does anyone know if there is adequate daily parking available at South Amboy NJT station? Does it help to get there earlier in the morning or are there available spots in the daily lots throughout the day? I'll need to take the train into Newark Penn only twice a week at varying times, so I won't need a monthly permit. Any info would be highly appreciated. Thanks!!

You should have no problem getting a daily spot. The monthly lot list is about 6 months, last I heard.

The daily parking seems fine! I think it's $3 a day. I get to the station early (6:15am), and my husband usually drops me, but when I drive myself, at that time there's plenty of parking.

I would be going out for Business trip for couple of months so anyone who wants to save her/himself from cold chilli weather can contact me at 732-500-7243. I have a Parking permit that I may not use it for couple of months. I will charge just the monthly fees.

I once had to park and ride from South Amboy station and I ended up parking overnight on the main city street, a guy there said "amboy police dont **** with parkers". but there is plenty of parking right infront of the actual track and in a dirt area on the other side of it.
